The 335 by Schnell 13: Phase II

With Phase I modifications now complete, I've moved on to Phase II with the mounting and balancing of the Stance SC-5ive wheels with Nitto INVO tires. Great combination, as the wider wheels and stickier rubber go great with the new aFe Scorcher module installed this week as well. Current mods on the car are as follows:
-K&N drop-in high flow air filter
-///M Performance: Black grills, CF trunk spoiler, mirrors and shifter, pedal kit
-Painted front reflector inserts
-StealthBulbs for the front turn signal indicators
-Sport Line red/black rubber mats and trunk liner, Sport Line exhaust finishers
-Llumar 30% tint all the way around
-Stance SC-5ive wheels (19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear)
-///M valve stem caps
-Nitto INVO high performance tires (235/35/ZR19 front, 255/35/ZR19 rear)
-Phase II ///M Mobility kit (really cool BMW kit, complete with compressor!)
-aFe Scorcher boost control module (~40hp, ~70 ft/lbs torque, plug-n-play!)
-CF lip/skirts coming Spring 2013. On to the pics...

(As a side note, I have no current plans to lower the car. As I'm stationed in coastal North Carolina, the roads flood far too often for me to be comfortable with lowering my daily driver. I think it looks awesome as it sits on the M adaptive suspension. Maybe when I move back to Texas, though!)

(As another side note, the red z/28 Camaro drag car belongs to the owner of the shop that installed my wheels and tires. Great old guy with a good sense of humor. He's owned his garage since 1961!! He said he wasn't even sure any more how much hp the Camaro was putting down to the pavement, but that it was running with it's 'small motor'...a 377!!)

I had these stance sc-5ve in 20"...

Your car looks awesome but the wheels should've been 20" to get that awesome concavity!

Anyway to each their own. I still like ur car! Good job bud!

Car would look better with stock wheels to be honest. Needs to be a lot lower to pull off those Stance wheels. Besides the wheels, it's a gorgeous car, love the color combo.

Just FYI those metal valve stem caps like to corrode and get stuck on the stem...you'll goto try and take them off and can't if it really gets stuck..then it twists/breaks the stem

Seen it too many times at work when people put them on with TPM sensors.

A drop would really allow the car to look more aggressive, but i love the cf mirrorcaps.

To respond to a few posts...
I'm not a a great person to ask about the price of the set up, as I got the wheels from a friend for a greatly reduced price, and the rear tires from one of his buddies for a good deal too. I ordered the front tires new. So, all in, I spent around 1800 on mounting, balancing, and installation. Couldn't beat the price! New, you're probably spending about 2500-3000.

Thanks for the tip about the metal valve stem caps. Haven't had a problem yet, but I'll consider replacing them!

Once again, currently, I have no plans to drop the car. I also don't like the stock wheels available for the M-Sport, either the 18" or 19". I wasn't crazy about the M Performance 20" wheels. I would have loved a set of 19" turbine wheels off of the Modern line, but they aren't available in 19". I got a good deal on the Stances, and I jumped on them. I love the way the car looks, and I'm exceedingly happy!

Like I've said on many other posts, this hobby is fun because of the many things that can be done with the blank canvas that is a stock vehicle. Everybody loves their cars due to the freedoms that they provide for us, from a Lambo to a Yugo, and what they've done to them. Take-home message: be respectful when you offer your opinions. I appreciate all of yours, even if I respectfully disagree!
