2013 328i Reliability

Ive done some research and found some things that worry me. I wanted to sum up the info in one thread that is why I created this so please keep the "search" comments out of this. My girl has a 2013 328 with 60k on it at this time. What are some things I need to look into maintenance wise to keep it on the road? What are the problems with these motors and how long can I realistically hold onto it? Ive read the blown engine at 72k thread and it has me concerned. Its all stock by the way and I get the oil changed every 5-7k instead of what BMW suggests. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2013 bmw 328i xdrive luxury line, with 42k miles, so far only thing wrong with it was a recall for the turbo oil line got that done last week other wise the car is really solid, my 1st bmw I love it... thank god i have cpo warranty till june 2019... because owning these cars out of warranty is a bit of a gamble.. few things to watch out from is timing chain, but since you got regular oil changes lubrication should be good... only a handful of cars had timing chain issues, like any car brands there is always a bad batch of parts, hopefully your car is not one of them...

True Delta is a good source for vehicle reliability. It is some sort of statistical algorithm on an owner contributed maintenance database.
