I've been following this company for a few years now. They have come a long way and make some good looking kits for certain cars. They are a company out of Russia that started small making universal 240 style flares. They now make quite a bit of model specific widebody kits that resemble rocket bunny and liberty walk. I hear their fitment is pretty quality as well.

Yeah they use a 3D scanner so the dimensions of the cut fit perfect. I like fender flares but not sure how it would look on an f30, it might mess with the lines.

Anyways it doesn't look too bad. For those wanting to go for the stance look or wider wheels.

The 1000's $ kits look cool. I'd love to have deep concave 11" stepped rims. The sub 100$ kits are just awful looking.

The full F30 kit is a bit extreme, for those wanting that look. But it looks pretty well designed.

Everyone has their own opinion on these, but the flares don't look too nice, but the wide body isn't half bad. I personally wouldn't do it cause I don't think it fits the car that well, but I'd like to see one in person, might change my mind.

Has anybody on this thread done a widebody or flares yet? I've looked at the clinched kit, and I don't like the way the back end looks.

TC-Concepts Wide Body Kit - F30

Some time ago I posted a thread about the TC-Concepts Wide Body Kit - F30. This wide body kit is tame in comparison to the other kits posted above; keeping the car looking relatively calm.

Unfortunately the further I dug, the more impracticable the installation seemed. I was turned down by two different shops in my area since the installations were risky and susceptible to cracking along the bond line.

Typical response from body shops:
"The existing quarter panels would need to be cut out to make room for wider wheels/tires and the wider arches bonded to the body and blended into the existing body work. This carries a lot of risk where if the wheel/tire strikes the new flare the bodywork is going to crack."

The company wasn't the most supportive either. I tried contacting them a few times to get better pictures of the parts and any instructions to help mitigate the concerns from the body shops. The pictures shown above were the only images shared by TC-Concepts.

wayward.travel Yeah I've looked into Moshammer a couple times, and actually almost pulled the trigger on them for the rear. The fortunate thing is I have a good body man down here in Tampa, so I'm leaning more towards some flares and having him build out the rest of the kit. I'm wanting to put at least 305's in the rear to hold the power I just put on.

The look isn’t for everyone but I’m using 2” Ulterior motive flares. Pretty happy when all is said and done, by no means perfect or “clean” but enables me to hit the track running 315/30r18 square with the option of wider once I get custom wheels 🤷🏼‍♀️
