M Performance Accessories

Just seen the new 'M Performance Accessories' brochure. Has anyone thought of adding 'M Performance Accessories' to their car? And if so what?

Had a look. All too expensive and don't really fancy anything. Thank goodness.

Hello,
There are several threads on this forum with members showing off their M performance accessories installed. Almost all currently available m performance accessory options have been installed in one form or another. Was there a particular item you were interested in seeing?

You can download the brochure from the German website (www.bmw.com), in the 'BMW Owners' section. Then in the 'Original BMW Accessories' you can find a download link to all of their brochures.

I found them on the UK BMW Webpage. Go into 'Owners', then 'Genuine BMW Accessories', then 'BMW M Performance' and it's all there.

I quite like the look of the performance exhaust system, but doesn't look, like it's suitable for the 320i.

It's listed under 330D F31 but I don't think it would fit. One single pipe maybe each side. not sure picture just shows One pipe. Petrol only I think.

I have opted for the performance interior and rear diffuser in black gloss. I'm considering the front spoiler but thinking it may be too much on the car i.e. I don't want it looking anything like a 'boy' racer car!

I have never been a fan of adding Carbon Fibre parts, Gloss Black ones or Matt Black ones. Carbon Fibre to my eyes looks naff, the Gloss Black gets scratched easily and produces a look on cars suitable for a B Class horror movie and Matt Black ones look cheap DIY.

If it was not such a hassle, I would seriously consider changing some of the Gloss Black trim on my M Sport to Chrome, except for the Rear Diffuser which I'd leave well alone. I wish BMW could have given me this as a no cost option.

To keep the peace, I end by saying ETTO.

Not related to the topic at all, but just read your signature. How did you manage to get valencia orange as a color?? Awesome color combo with the black merino leather, extremely jealous! Will definitely be one unique 3 series.

Can I ask what you know of the TV option. Is there subscription of other additional costs. Is the reception a good quality and will you get good use of it.

I said to the dealer that there wasn't enough colour choice in the range and cited the example that with Audi you can (for a price) have any colour from the entire range to cars. So they said to me what colour would I like. I did some research and came up with a colour that is in the 1 Series range. They contacted the factory, who came back with a price and hey presto the deal was done.

Time will tell what the reception is like. No one has told me about any subscriptions.

I hope to get good use from it as I do quite a lot of waiting around either for my wife, when I am collecting her from work. Or when I am waiting for the tide and the wind to pick up when I am using my kite buggy on the beach.

I'm finding it option hard to jsutify. I thought it was quite expensive but if you get the use that's maybe worth it.

I don't think the exhaust fits the 330d, and I've spoken to IND distribution about the 3D quad - no good for 330d either

I highly recommend the M performance range. Have the front grilles on the F31, and am going for the full aerodynamic kit when it's available in March. The grilles went on as soon as I drove the car home.

On the M3, it's got a fair few of the M performance bits - every single one makes it more refined and rare whilst keeping it totally away from the Halford's type mod style I hate to see.

On the F31 I'd also love the 20" 405M wheels Must resist!

"Hi Mat,

We have just had a bulletin from BMW today advising that the M Performance parts for F30/31 will be available in March. As soon as I get more information I will let you know."

I've ordered this on a few BMW's in the past. I since realised I used it about 5 times so stopped specing it. It was good for putting on whilst eating in the car.

No subscriptions needed, other than I believe you need a valid home TV license to watch TV on the move... but I might be wrong, and no one checks at BMW anyway.
