Hey everybody,
Just had a quick search but nothing seemed to crop up. I was wondering if it is possible to change the car model in the iDrive display? As you can see when I change modes it comes up with a non M-Sport 3 series which isn't even the same colour as my car… it's the little details I notice and I think it would be a bit snazzy to have your own car / colour rather than just a random car. If it's not possible then oh wells but thought I'd throw it out there in case there was a way to change this. For reference I have NBT EVO display and car is a 2017 F30 330e. TIA |

Unfortunately there is no m-sport f30. This is the only available image.
Another possible option is modifying the images in the software files for the nbtevo and replacing it with a custom image of the car |

Well it was worth a shot to see if anyone had managed to get it changed. Perhaps this is a post I'll come back to in the future when I've had a nosey on the file systems as I've not yet received my Enet cable.
Cheers for the input. If anyone manages to locate anything give me a shout. |

Next, search harder
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1935723 I can introduce you to someone who can do this via coding. But you PM does not work. Once it works, i will DM you and you report your result here. |

Oh that's great news! I must admit it was a fly by of a search…
Unfortunately I have still got to post more to get PM's to be approved. I'm more of the lurker type so it's a bit frustrating as I don't really have much to post about. When I finally get there I'll send over a PM. In the mean time more research required now I know it's doable! |
