Being doing Stronglifts 5x5 for a little while now, it took quite a while to get my form right, I used to lift very sloppily. Everything is feeling good now and still increasing weights nearly every session.
Currently at (these are for sets of 5)
Squats - 120kgs
Bench - 90kgs
Dead - 145kgs
O/H press - 57.5kgs
barbell rows - 90kgs
Want to really increase these. Set myself a goal of 300/400/500lb bench/squat/dead.

good lift and in no way am I trying to tell you how you should lift but looking at that video a good 10x Id say you may benefit from straightening your back some more. Maybe squat a tad bit more and look as far up as you can without feeling uncomfortable. That should get your back straighter and make your lifts alil easier.

no problem you are correct. i was more rounded there than usual for sure. i am continually working on technique and this lift was actually a result of a change. i put on 50lbs to my lift but unfortunatley it also put me more upright sooner and made it more dangerous to my back. my set up used to be typical walk in and set then lift taking quite a bit of time. now i just walk up and rip it but i dont get my butt down as well.

Garage List
I power lift for fun and compete in Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, Crossfit..

Ive never tried to max out but I've done 3 reps of each:

Dead Lift 315
Back Squat 275
Bench 185
OverHead Squat 155
Clean 185
Snatch 155

I'm 31 170lbs 5'10"
Trying to get more serious about it. I do 4 sets of 8 - 12 reps. I run a lot, which I think draws back my absolute strenght (I consistantly finish 3 miles in 18 minutes). Fun as hell, love it.

I have not done any powerlifting, but I am looking to do my first strongman this fall if my shoulder recovery keeps improving. I can cut a few pounds and drop a weight class and likely do a bit better in placement. Mostly want to do it just to do it. I have spent a lot more time bodybuilding than powerlifting, but I have always lifted heavy for the bodybuilding. Not one of those "light lifters".

How much do you weigh? NAS has two weight classes. Light weight: Up to 231lbs, and heavy weight which is above 231lbs. They do offer a novice class (what I do), and junior division (If you're young enough). I have heard of lower weight classes being offered, but it is pretty rare.

I average between 235-240lbs on any given day, which is why I can easily drop some weight quick to get down below that 231 limit.
Re-tweaked my shoulder last week, so it may not even happen.

The best I've ever done was 380lb bench, 260 front military, 405 squat at 172lbs no shirt no additives. That was about 4 years ago and now I'm at 178 and estimate around a 350lb bench although my squat is getting a lot better. Im 35 and have trained heavy at the same gym for about 13 years. Never missed more than a week. It becomes an addiction. I don't train as intensively as I used to. It used to be three heavy chest and arms days a week, one heavy shoulder day and one heavy leg day a week. Now if Im lucky I get four days in a week.

I used to compete back in high school. Between getting a baseball scholarship and hurting my back, I ultimately put down lifting heavy. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to truly go for my max on squat (I was never red light'ed at any meet).

At 17 years old:
Body Weight-211.6 lbs
Squat-675
Bench- 315
Deadlift- 575
Equipment- single ply Titan squat suit, base model Inzer bench shirt, base model inzer knee and wrist wraps.

Try incorporating bands or chains to those workouts. Helped me a lot when I plateaued.

My numbers are much lower than you guys but

Age :29 // 5'5 125 Lbs

Bench 185 x 10 // 225 1RM
Squat 305 x 8 // 390 1RM
Deadlift 200 x 8 // Haven't Tried a 1RM
Shoulder Press 170 x 8 // Haven't Tried a 1RM
Bent over Barbell row 175 x 8 // Haven't Tried a 1RM

My back and shoulders are plateauing hard though.

Went from 178 lbs (fat) to 125 (sort of lean ~10% body fat according to my last test) in about a year and a half. Trying to go back the other way and put some on, but the metabolism is now all wacked out and It's become physically hard to gain weight. Gains have slowed down significantly.

I power lifted for years until age and injuries caught up to me (i am now 40). The highest weight I got to as a meat head was 215 (6"1). I had to take a year off just to recover from.. oh the entire fucking body falling apart. I stared again 2 months ago and I am not just body building with moderate weights and lots of back to back lifts without too much rests and lots of cardio after. I missed the power lifting days because I had an excuse to eat my ass off (healthy) but now I am at about 195 and feel like I am in the best shape of my life. Let me share one thing that fucked up my knees... squats ass to grass style for over 10 years and heavy. I have now moved on to hack squats with straight leg dead lifts (no where near the poundage I am used to but oh well).
