328i Manual w/Sport Line CPO Opinions
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I'm looking for some opinions on this CPO. I'm slowly coming up to speed with details on the F30. Here's what I'm thinking: - 6 speed manual - Sport Line Not an M-Sport . I don't understand the different suspensions. Do I want and M-Sport if RWD? - 2013 iDrive < 2014 iDrive ? Any comments? |

Biggest benefit from m sport over the sport line is the aesthetics.
Unfortunately manuals are difficult to find these days. If you entertain the idea of settling for an auto, paddle shifters are difficult to come by as well. They are all rwd. I own a 2012, for a week I had a 2014 as a loaner. The 2014 idrive may have better capabilities but I wasn't a fan of the controllers looks, feel, or operation. This may have changed with more time for m3, obviously if you aren't familiar with the earlier one it won't matter to you.

Thanks all for the info and clarifying that the suspension would be the same as M-Sport. On the iDrive, I'm pretty sure this has a USB port. I would want my iPhone 6 to work (well) with Audio and Phone Calls, which I hope the 2013 would be able to do either via USB or Bluetooth.

I recently picked up a 2012 328i Sport Line RWD 6MT... and I love it! Manual transmission was a must for me, and indeed it was not easy to find. They are difficult to find brand new, let alone CPO! I'm in Canada and at the time i was looking, there was only ONE available... 1,800 km away. Happened to drop by a dealer on the way home from work one day and they had JUST had the car I was looking for. It hadn't even been cleaned or entered into the dealer's system... Took it for a spin, fell in love, and pounced.
If it is what you want, I say go for it! Who knows when another one like it will come around. Here's a few of photos of mine |

Is it just me that thinks sportline is more elegant? Yes I like interior bits of msport like the steering wheel, but as far as front bumper goes I actually prefer the clean understated sportline looks (which I think go better with the power that this car produces) over something aggressive (which I think is more suitable on an M3). Over-aggressive looks with less power feels "poser" to me.
