Pulling with an E92 M3

So im on the NJ turnpike Sunday afternoon and here comes behind me in the rear view mirror---FAST!!! One alpine White M3!!
SO, of course I get an idea, lets see what the F30 can do?! I slam 'er into sport and sport ( you know what i mean) and as hes just pulling ahead of me about a car length, I slam the gas pedal to the floor. Nice open road, no traffic, just him and i for about a mile ahead. Basically, he couldnt pull away from me. We were neck to neck the entire time up to about 135 MPH. (then there was traffic, coming up fast) I tore away from him through traffic and slammed it again, where at this point he couldt catch me anymore. I gotta say that exhaust sounds phenomenal, whatever he had on it. (when i was behind him, and smelled all his exhaust, fuel burning in the tail pipe)
My take ont this, Im very surprised he could NOT pull away from me on acceleration from say 80-130ish MPH. I dont know if he has his foot the floor like I did, but Kudos to the F30 for at least "keeping up" with the M3..
BTW, im completely Stock, for now

I'm wondering if this is just a case of the M3 driver being too scared to floor it in his car - a lot of M3 drivers I tend to see these days buy it more for the prestige than because they know how to drive it...

(Side note: I beat my buddy's Porsche Cayman S with my E90 328i xDrive in autoX because he doesn't know how to drive it - LOL)

There's no doubt that my E90 M3 was quicker than my 435 w/ MPPK. However, my car stage 2 I think could be close.

Stock E90's aren't that fast. My previous 135i would keep up with old M3's. Tuned it would pull ahead. The new B58 tuned will smoke a stock f80 M3. My friends tuned 335i was able to keep up with my F80 M3.. Until I got grip lol

Why 330i on this? N52 is way low in performance compare to the n55. So back to the m3 and 335i. Stock everyone knows what is the outcome, now 335i + jb4 vs stock e90 m3 everyone knows too also. There is nothing new on this 335i vs m3.

That's not the point. OP came here to mention his car was faster or just has fast as an E90 M3. He mentioned the highways were empty and I too know that highways were empty on Sunday. Afternoon everyone is already having dinner. If the highway was truly empty, no harm done.

Also, everyone on this forum I guarantee has done their fair share of speeding. Everyone one want's more power, quicker car, etc. Not many of us track our cars, we take it to the back roads/highways.

Maybe it would have helped if he said he was in "mexico" at the time.

No one is condoning speeding, that wasn't the topic of this post. Please, let the cops and his mom tell him when and when not to speed, your not convincing anyone to not speed, just making for unpleasant forum experience.

Cut the crap and stop been a sentimental. Every one here has speeding one way or another. I drive mine like hell anywhere sometimes. What are you going to do about it? leave the cops for that.

Yeah..we all know, the point he was making and I am guilty of driving triple digit speeds where I shouldn't have..but, I don't come on here bragging about it and how i was tearing through traffic...even though it is an entertaining read and I do like the kill stories on n54 tech. But posting like that you better realize the reaction your gonna get.

I'm just a shade over 9 inches myself. I'm sure not the biggest, but it seems to get the job done without complaints.

eh... I came from an E92 M3 and it can certainly eat my 340i for lunch if it wanted to. Nothing to prove to any other 3er when you're in an M3 - cat and mouse is fun but it is a bit safer when your goal is to just have fun and not try and pass, especially at those speeds.

Lots of State Police hiding on the NJTP and there's no escaping them once you've been tagged.

Sorry--135 on a US highway on a Sunday afternoon--I don't give a damn what the OP's "point" was. It's stupid, and dangerous and potentially deadly. Maybe everyone speeds--ok. But you can't see the difference between 80 and 135? Are you seriously lumping all that together as "speeding"?

The highways were "empty"--the NJ Tpke is never "empty". Read his post--he had a 1 mile where it was clear (less than 30 seconds at that speed), then traffic came on him. If OP wants to drive like a douche and endanger his own life, then fine. Don't endanger mine too--for what? The "rush" of going fast? Please--this isn't the "Fast and the Furious". Grow the fuck up.

Pull that crap flying by me and I'll be dialing #77 immediately.
