Windows opening by themselves
I'm sure I've seen this discussed before, but I have searched and searched, but can't find anything.
Ever since I have coded a few items, such as folding in the mirrors on locking the car, the front windows have been behaving oddly. When I start driving, I notice that there is noise coming in from both the front windows, and that is because they are open just a small bit -- 1/4 inch or so. Maybe this has something to do with relieving the air pressure when opening or closing the door? Any ideas? |

You, or whoever coded your car messed up. I would revert back to factory spec and try again.

From the factory the car will put the windows down when you press the unlock button on the remote, starting with the front, then rear, then sunroof. By default, there is a delay. You must hold the unlock button for the windows to start to roll down. It is possible to change the time delay on this, so it is possible whoever coded your car fucked something up and the act of pressing the unlock button engages the window-down command a tiny bit. That's my best guess.

I wouldn't say they badly messed it up, but as said, normally there is a delay that can be changed. Whoever coded it seems to have set the delay to 0 causing the windows to start rolling down as soon as the unlock button is pressed.
In my car, I reduced the delay to roughly half a second with a half a second delay between windows, that way I can unlock the car and keep the windows up, or reduce the delay when I want to roll down the windows. I can't remember exactly but I believe there is a delay for the side view mirrors folding and unfolding, and definitely one for the trunk comfort access opening, that I reduced to 0 to allow them to happen immediately. |

Also, on the F31 we have a powered sunshade for the panoramic roof, and the shade will creep an inch at a time when you lock the car repeatedly lol.

I think the delay is wayyyy too long for the default setting. Wish it was half that time.
