Loose Door Lock Rattle

So a weird noise rattle I have figured out what it is! The door lock thing that comes up and down when locked and unlocked is loose and makes a rattle. I just had the windows tinted and it started after this. I do not know what to do to fix it. Has anyone else had this issue?

Super common issue. Some people put some felt on the sides to stop it from wiggling. Dealer puts a block lower down the line which also stops it from rattling

Can you show me a picture of where they are purring the felt. I am not sure where you are referring too.

sorry i don't really have a picture basically just try to wrap the piece that goes in and out of the door with something. If that doesn't wiggle there will be no noise.

You need to pry out the door lock hole with a trim tool and then line the inner part of it with Velcro or hockey tape.

You might also be hearing the pins that clip the door card to the door rattling around in their mounts. I shimmed all mine so that they couldn't freely bounce around the mount portion of the door card and it reduced a lot of rattles.

I think this may well be my problem. The rattle/vibration doesn't appear to be coming from the lock pin (if I hold that still, the noise doesn't disappear) but from a few inches below it. If I press gently against the trim, the rattle goes away and I did think it sounds like a trim clip rattle. Is door card removal easy?

It's only when I close the door pretty hard it doesn't happen during normal driving

I got the same issue and dealer fixed first time and the rattle just came back a few weeks ago, have a service appointment next week and will have them check out the rattle noise.
