Need Winter set up opinion

I want to go square on all corners for a winter setup. This maybe a dumb question but I want to be sure, will a square setup affect the xDrive? I was thinking of getting 18x8 Monte Titano MT1 Piana Matte Titanium rims w/ 225/45 R 18 Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II RFT. These rims should clear the M sport brakes. Anyone have these rims?
