I don't really care. At 20mpg with just my work commute it's not a problem

23198 (15th Feb - purchase day)
23514 ( 6th Mar - current milage)

I've only done 316 miles since getting it!
My average over the 20,000 miles ish I've had it is 30.6, but I do a fair bit of motorway driving.

Where did you get this information? I've been looking everywhere to find what cost-co diesel actually is, but there's mostly just speculation on the internet.

For sure this is also just speculation I saw on PistonHeads. Quite how they knew of course ???

Just done a couple of motorway stints at around the speed limit and I'm actually shocked that it isn't super crap with fuel.

With my week of around town driving (5miles there n back) and then a 80 mile stint on the motorway I filled up and the car had averaged over my week AND the motorway 27.8mpg.

I then absolutely shat all of the economy out of the window as I visited family for the first time since having the car. Three people drove the car like they'd stolen it and each of them were wowed with the car but the fuel economy hasn't appreciated it.

Driving back again sat on the m25 averaging 40mpg.

What milage do you do a day? My Mrs drives it Monday - Friday and does 7 miles each way and I'm worried we might see that but was hoping for a bit more

I'm not sure you should worry about mpg with that mileage, and crying might be bit OTT. The difference between just over 20 and just under 30 is about a fiver a week.

I traded a car doing 37mpg for one doing more like 27mpg and over 10k miles a year I worked that out to about a tenner a week - which the new car is well worth as its petrol, 350hp and makes a nice noise!

Just be prepared for LOTS of smiles.

As I said above I did try to drive it sensibly but then I thought "why the hell did I buy this car to drive it slower than my old volvo". I then put my foot down and giggled like a little kid.
