My 430D is due a couple of service items, brake fluid, oil service and vehicle check - I have emailed the Indy I use and they have said the following which I am not sure about!
‘When your Oil service and Vehicle check are due at the same time, the major service is required’ Also the price quoted is circa £100 more than the price available from the stealer in my app. Is the major service comment a red herring - it’s a 68 Plate. Appreciate your comments. Thanks |

In my experience, I agree with them.
The easier way to work it out is what was done at the last service? If the last service was Oil + Microfilter only then this one is a major, so Air Filter and Fuel Filter too. The next one will be Oil + Microfilter only. The timings work out too. If the car was sold feb 2019 then the minor will be feb 2021 and major will be feb 2023. |

Thanks I think you may be right, I checked the I Drive and 2 years ago the service at circa 35K included air filter, oil etc and the one last years was just oil change.
So this one some 30k miles more than the one 2 years ago will be the more comprehensive one. So probably right Thanks |
