Just got this letter in the mail saying that bmw is offering a pull ahead program. My lease is due in 6 months... I have never done business with this dealer but the timing is right on time.. Any idea if this is a real pull ahead or just a scam to get me in for a new car?

It's a real BMW program. I think the offer is actually through BMW NA so you probably could do the pull ahead program at any dealer. I got my pull ahead letter from one dealer (where current car is from) but wound up leasing from another still using pull ahead.

I called the dealer.. They said they sent it out in error and my car does not qualify.. I never have ever even dealt with that dealer.. Are they getting lists of leases and just mailing theses out as a bait an switch?

Try another dealer as the pull ahead is legit since it's a BMW NA program. I've done it twice already. My current is actually 8 months ahead. GL!

I'm from NorCal and I used BMW Fremont. Ask for Calvin G. if ever you gonna call them.

Qualification is based on when your lease ends.

I got a letter from dealer but my 335 lease ends in May, which is too far out (usually just 3 months pull ahead), so it could happen that you got it in error (like me)

The program is from BMW FS as others have pointed out, and I used it in 2013 when I got my 335

I've seen that pull ahead was for leases ending within 3 months. Maybe something else for 6 months will come out in the slower months (e.g. Jan/Feb)

The pull ahead program is for certain series models only.... I have a 650 and they would not allow me to do a six month pull ahead only a three month .... you have to read the fine print

The pull ahead program changes month to month, meaning sometimes it's on for 6 months, sometimes it may only 3 months or possibly none. Dealerships aren't given advanced notice, it's up to BMW what they'll offer and when. If they're offering 6 months and you're in the window, you better not wait too long or it will be gone.

It is a real program, they cover 3 remaining payments, plus you get two loyalty new payments up to $500.

For leases ending at any time? Or is there an actual date... When I asked dealer he said leases ending before 3/31/16

My 328i lease ends May 2nd, My 340i should be delivered early to mid Feb, so I should be able to get a couple payments waived when I go turn in my car.


When I ordered it in December the Pull-Ahead was for cars ending April 30th, so I was just outside the window, I don't think i'll have much of a problem having the dealer do this for me on Delivery Day..... Or should I tell them before?

You should be fine doing it when you are picking up the car.

Thanks for all your help Mico.... Nice getting the inside scoop from people in the biz, some of these programs like this discretionary pull ahead don't have their details anywhere for people to see

What do you mean by you get loyalty new payments up to 500? They pay 2 payments for you or is it just a credit

Whats the difference between they pay 2 payments for you and just a credit?? Isn't it the same thing?
