guys do the projector bulbs for hids as opposed to reflector bulbs make a significant difference on light output on the road? ive just been out on some country lanes and whilst light output wasnt bad it wasnt great - ive got projector bulbs for the 35w hid stealth kit on the way and wondered if i expect to see a marked differemce between the reflector bulbs theyd sent by mistake as opposed to projector bulbs.. or is it more a case of the cutoff improving rather than light output on the road..im currently getting the light ahead as opposed to on the actual road

Oh man! That is H7R with black strip. Have you thought about putting Phillips LEDs in dipped beam too?

Girlfriend got them installed on Wednesday there, Took a few photos today. They look awesome, she's really happy with them.

Green Lane is seemingly a popular spot BrennanF30, seen a guy getting shots of his car today, we were gonna go there but not enough light by the time they were done.

Mine will be arriving tomorrow or Tuesday, Got the LED's from Aurorabulbs, Couldn't resist so stuck them in the stock headlamps just to see the colour temp and how insanely bright they are, only managed to get them in the dipped though.

Green lane, the abandoned filling station on the glenavy road? Lol yeah good little spot, was it a silver celica you saw?

Just to clear confusion, the car in the photos is the woman's car, you also have an f30 and are getting the depos?

@m1ke116 can you please do me a favour. Is it possible for you to install good quality H7 led for dipped beam with these projector lense? Almost everyone on forum including I have only hid bulbs for dipped. Good beam pattern but not so happy with brightness especially driving on very dark motorway. Even worse when raining. I'm using 55w ballasts but will ditch them if led puts brighter light on road . Cheers.

I've drove with my depos 35w 5000k hid in torrential rain at night and I could see perfectly fine, I was especially impressed with the bi-xenon high beam.

Will do, I've got 4 Philips H7 Lumileds ready to be installed in both the dipped and high beam barring any issue with fitting them in. I'll post pics once they're installed. I have one set in my stock headlights (reflectors), Just wanted to see how bright they are and to see the colour temp of them.

Thanks man. I can't wait to change bulbs in my headlights too. It is just a bit complicated with garage booking, appointment etc.

I'm also very interested in the comparison between these LED vs HID with our projector lens.
