Glove Box Trunk Lock Button?

I'm quite sure, this has been omitted from the version I have, but does anyone have a pic of where this button is located? Is it really obvious? It's a cool feature and I would have really appreciated it for valet parking.

It's strange how BMW configures their cars, country to country. Some of these features should have been on all versions.

I'm surprised I got some awesome features like VSS and HUD, while I lost out on a lot of the smaller, cooler features. You can't configure the car here.

No, the bootlid lock is market specific. If u open the glovebox u can see a small piece of plastic on the left hand side. That's where the button should be.

Nope. It's on the RIGHT side. A small horizontal slide switch.

I think he said so because the OP is in India, and they are RHD.

Yup, right side top of mine too. Seems odd that the valet lock would be an option.

What option?! I don't seem to have it either, but I'm not surprised; my 328i isn't exactly loaded full of goodies.

Really? No trunk lock for valet? Look near top of glove box on an outside edge. Not very noticable. Slide switch to lock and unlock.

So, not this. Wow, that seems odd to me. Maybe it's part of a package. But jeez, should be a standard feature.

Maybe the UK valets are more trustworthy.

The manual suggests there should be a switch in the glove box.

We have a boot release in the cabin too!

It's next to the bonnet release by the door.

You don't have that either?

Again, the interior bootlid lock & bootlid release is market dependant.
