Two quick spypics of the F30 on the freeway in Germany
Its just so unreal to me that the F30 is out on the roads testing already, but here it is again! A quick eyed reader of AutoWeek.nl snapped up two photos of the car on the highway while in Germany! Not much new is seen with the car when compared to the earlier spypics.
What is known just from the shape so far is that the car will retain the basic proportions of the E90 however with shorter front and rear overhangs, which combined with the more bulbous wheel arches should give this car a very sveltte and modern appeal. Stay tuned for more in the coming months! Source: http://www.autoweek.nl/autonieuws/13...buiten-Munchen |

Looks like it's gonna resemble the new 5er pretty closely.
...that's my way of saying I am unimpressed.

From past productions, 3 series always seemed to be quite different than its upper class brothers such as 5&7 series, but i think this time it might be a different story.

It's not their fault. Take a look at the new 5er closely. The rear end is practically a Toyota Camry. The only explanation for this resemblance is all the current regulations around bumper design. I find cars nowdays look more and more alike between brands. It's that same bubbly design only the headlights and the logo looks different. p.s. Hey Socom, did you use to own a ZHP? Guess who is in the market for one

Yes I did. In fact a co-worker bought it from the dealership on the same day I turned it in (09/2006). Probably the quickest CPO sale ever made. I do know it got a new transmission via warranty at 75k miles. Kinda short for a 6spd IMO. |

So, if it's already in road development 3 years before launch there should be no excuses for cars built without oil coolers, emissions controls and with failure prone fuel pumps...right?

HA, not if they don't test it in the US with U.S. fuel. I swear I can't understand to this day how the turbo engine wasn't tested long term in the US with US fuel to determine FP issues.

i do. Look at the 5gt..makes me want to go blind in a tragic accident. the new 7>? is a Lexus with kidney grills. im glad I have an e90.. the e9x's will be the last good things for a while IMO. Heat Suit Is On.. lol |
