437M...OE tyres or not ?
Ok….finally bit the bullet and bought a set of 437m with 245/40 19’s on the front and 275/35 19’s on the rear.
Will that size of tyre fit my F31 x-drive with Eibach pro-kit without rubbing or poking, or would I be better putting the OE tyres on the new wheels although I know they would be a stretch ? Just don’t fancy splashing out yet for 235’s and 265’s . Thanks |

The important part in this setup is your rolling diameter, which you happen to be within XDrive parameters. You want to be within 1% rolling diameter between front & rear wheels.
I don't know much about the F31 or its clearances but, I ran 437m's with 255/35 and 275/35 on an F32 with no rubbing. |

Many thanks for coming back…….yes, rolling diameter was within the legendary 1% but the tyres did rub on the front unfortunately so I’ve put the original run-flats on for now ( which look awful as I hate the ‘stretched’ look but Pirelli seem to run very narrow ) so I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get some 265 and 235 replacements and I’ll put my 704m alloys, the PZ4 run-flats I had on them, which were actually pretty impressive and then the 245/40 and 275/35 Pilot Sport tyres which came on the 437m’s on eBay or on here to get some of the money back 🤞
Thanks again |
