I put the Stage 2 on my AH3 after installing the Dinan CF intake, ran Map 2 after getting comfortable on Map 1, and blew my charge pipe. Luckily, I was close to home and drove home under electric power (whoo!) with no problem. I got an ER charge pipe, which is sweet, put it back on Map 2 for a bit and no problem. I added the Meisterschaft mid-pipe back and changed to Map 5 and have had 0 issues (aside from traction) since.

Technically it a sensor on the low pressure fuel pump that fails, throwing an error code that throws the car into limp mode.
BMW does not have a sensor replacement so one has to swap out the entire fuel pump due to he sensor failure. |

Hi, JB4 map 5 here with Akrapovic exhaust and BMC air filter on the intake side, no issues to report, no codes anything. I have the bluetooth extension on JB4 to monitor everything and switch maps easily ln the iphone.

JB4 allows for progressive mods, map 1 is designed for added performances on a fully stock car for instance, map 5 is auto learning and will adjust to engine parameters, probably benefitting of the exhaust/intake mods i put on. I don't plan on other engine mods for now, i've got the power I need.
Things I like about JB4 is: - it uses all engine parameters to determine appropriate boost - gear, rpm, oil temp and more than that, protecting the engine in lower gears, or when it's cold. - it can evolve with my future mods if any - it's got bluetooth extension - and a wide community of users for support Indeed i have EWG, it's a 12/2013 production / 2014 Model Year car. And yes I do have anti dazzle too. |

Replying to a pretty late thread here, but I can't tell if I need PWG or EWG JB4 for my '13 AH3, how do I tell(I'm pretty sure it's PWG b/c of its model year but I want to be sure before I buy)?
