Front End "Clunk" When Turning Wheel Left or Right

I noticed this while parking. It only occurs when the wheel is turned extreme left or right to "lock" Not sure if it from the tires or front end. Sounds like a very quick succession of three "clunks" I know it's a bit vague. Any ideas ? Car is 2 months old.

2 month old? Take it to the dealer and exercise your warranty. Have shop foreman go with you on a test drive and demonstrate the clunk to them.

I too have that clunk since the car was new but it happens so rarely (maybe once a month) that I can never reproduce it for the dealer. No bad side effects and the car is almost 3 years old. I have had the alignment done recently and that didn't do anything.

Is yours easily reproducible? If so, take it to the dealer and show them.

If the problem can be consistently reproduced, take it to the dealer. If you have a friend who can record the sound while the wheels are being turned, even better. Save all video clips with sound just in case.

^^^This.

Just had the inner tie rod on my 335 replaced to cure exactly the symptom you're describing.
