NBT Quadlock Wire Color Help
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to get the AUX and MIC1/MIC2 working with my car. Currently I know that to get the AUX to work it is: Pin 30 AUX IN Left Pin 35 AUX IN Right Pin 36 AUX IN GND For Mic 1: Pin 17 MIC 1 (+) Pin 22 MIC 1 (-) For Mic 2: Pin 18 MIC 2 (+) Pin 19 MIC 2 (-) But how do I know which color wire is which? For color I have AUX: Blue Gray Brown For Mics I have: Black White Gray Yellow White Gray I don't know which one is MIC1 and MIC2 Anyone know where to get this information? If so don't worry you can swap them around on the mic side if the called person can't hear you and you won't damage the mic or the NBT. |

Yea I didn't want to put them in wrong and cause any damages. If there's no worries then I will just test until it works

So from my research I concluded the following:
Pin 30 AUX IN Left - Gray Pin 35 AUX IN Right - Blue Pin 36 AUX IN GND - Brown Pin 39 AUX Shield - Not Used For Mic 1 (Driver side): Pin 17 MIC 1 (+) - Gray Pin 22 MIC 1 (-) - White Pin 33 Shield - Black For Mic 2 (Passenger): Pin 18 MIC 2 (+) - Yellow Pin 19 MIC 2 (-) - White Pin 25 Shield - Black Although, testing the mics, everything worked fine but after plugging everything in and putting everything back together; the mics stopped working. I coded HU_NBT for 6NS and I don't have 6NH in the VO. I also have HU_NBT->3002 AUDIO_TUNER_TRAFFIC, 96 ->MICROPHONE_NUMBER set to wert_2. Not sure if that matters or not. Any ideas anyone? |

I doubt it would be coding if the mic worked before u put every back.Have you tried going over the cabling and mic connectors to make sure they not just pinched somewhere or the connectors have come loose somehow.
