retractable license plate

Hey guys,
Front license plate is required in NJ but I dont wanna drill hole for it and ruining the look.
Then I found this, looks so coool!!!


so I contact this oneight service, and they're asking $400 for it...
sounds too pricy...
is there any similar&cheaper for this?
or can I buy it somewhere and diy?

pls share ur expreience if any

There charging you $250 for the install when it shouldn't take more then a hour in labour. LOL

Actually they're charging you for a comprehensive service that's guaranteed to fit your car and a professional install.

If you wan to buy a part online, not knowing if it'll even fit, and then take the risk of a self installation (where if you fuck up there's no one to blame but yourself) then that's your choice.

These are not specifc to any vehicle I have sold many of these myself. They are a general fit and you can mount them in several different places. Guranteed to fit your car.... is that what they tell you bud

Too pricey for me. But if you're asking what they're worth.. isn't that whatever people are willing to pay for them? Neat gadget though. I've seen the same principle applied to a flat screen TV that resides under the bed when not in use and right at the foot board when "exposed"

Glad I live in PA.
