I'm kinda struggling adjusting my KW V2s coilovers ... I set them by evenly counting the threads on the perch but when I drop the car it's uneven.

I took the car around for a spin and try to readjust them again. I would measure the fender to rim. How would you guys go about setting your height on coilovers?

Drive around for a fair amount of time. Stop and park your Bimmer at the most level spot you can find, making sure you're not compressing the shocks prior to stopping. Measure all four corners, ground to top of fender. Go home and adjust each corner to match where you're looking to be ride wise.

That's about it... and make sure your springs (mainly in the rear) are seated correctly and the lower rubber perch is in the right orientation. I tightened everything down on mine and the one rear was way out of wack even though we measured the threads to the mm. Turns out the spring was just barely missing it's natural spot on the perch.
Otherwise yeah it's all about finding level ground and tweaking the heights slowly. It's a bit of a pain on the rear ones especially, took me two times pulling it all apart to dial in the right height.

Did you make sure to tighten your suspension bushings after loading the car to the proper height?

you can't measure the coilovers. you need to measure the height of the fender if you want it to be even. your car isn't symetrical, so it won't sit the same if both shocks are set to the exact same height.
