any owners of f30 328 notice a drop in fuel consumption on the low end rpm range after installing the 328 signature exhaust?

I installed this exhaust around two weeks ago and honestly my mpg went up slightly about 1-2mpg. I'm not sure if I subconsciously changed my driving habits but those were my findings.

I'm working on a video review as we speak. Just trying to find the time for editing and filming. I also have before and after videos with interior noise using a go pro. I'd post photos but I'm using the mobile app. I don't see why I would lie about it.

Would also like feedback on how it is sound on 328. Do you like so far? is it too loud? how is it under normal day to day driving?

I'll be posting an in depth review soon, but for to quickly answer your question: you definitely know that it's back there and can be heard even under the mildest acceleration, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's intrusive at all. It's loud enough to be noticeable but quiet enough to be livable.

Installation was not as simple as it seemed. Tips doesn't align right position easily so the muffler guy had to work more to make it look good. The tips look great.

I don't like this sound for now. It's a little too bassy and I can't hear no grain and texture under 3000rpm, just like other 4 cylinder cars with aftermarket exhausts. I am not putting down 4 cylinder cars (including mine); when they go catless, they all sound awesome. However, I'd like to drive few hundred miles more if either my taste or the sound changes a little bit.

It's mostly louder than stock during start, idle, cruising. Not much difference on volume from inside the cabin after 40-50mph.

I could definitely feel the performance gain, as I drove up to some uphill mountain roads. Power comes a little more aggressive. This could be a reason I'd keep this exhaust.

Added: I did some quick Tascam recording and it doesn't sound too bad from outside at low rpm. I will drive more and post a review with some sound clips later!

Would like to see it dual pipes like 335 version. Not a fan or the single pipe but it does sound good.

Can't wait until my one comes in the mail! Question: can the sport line black exhaust tips be taken off and put onto the AA exhaust?

It would have to be the same size and have a tightening type of system. Slip ons with clips will not work

Are the exhaust pipes 3.5"? Maybe I could source a set of black tips.

So received my exhaust in the mail today, shout out to @Mike@x-ph.com (quick shipping, nice guy to deal with). Well packaged.

Installation and fitment: Not great to be honest. I got it installed at Midas and was under the car the whole time watching them do it. The biggest disappointment was the provided tips were too lose when they tightened the bolts. Ended up having to use some welding to get them on. Unless, Midas did something wrong, which I don't think they did.

Looks: Exhaust looks great, stainless is nice. I wanted to put the black tips on initially, but the stainless looks great too and I think I'll rock it this way for a while.

Sound/Performance: Exhaust shines here though. Very deep bassy sound at idle and low revs. BMWs sound insulation does a good job of isolating the sound on the inside to a point, but you'll know the exhaust is there without being annoyed. No drone that I noticed. Car is definitely louder on the outside than the inside, but it sounds refined and not a fart can. I think it is better than the m-performance which barely gives you any sound and no performance improvement. Oh and the performance: car is quicker and has better pickup from idle to redline (very noticeable from 1500-5000). I definitely think the stated HP/TQ increases are accurate. Combine this with a BMS Stage 1, and you don't have to worry about not buying a 335I, this car feels just as quick if not quicker.

I had issues fitting the tips but i had exhaust wrap and it got tight.
