JB stage one first take
Stage One installed today - going to run it for two weeks before dyno and the track opens Apr 2 for first 1/4 milest
Did some quick runs today - 0 to 60 was .7 sec faster at 4.6 using same method on stock and stage 1 - that is damn impressive for a 10 minute install of a tune and nothing else all for 380.00 - I cannot wait to do the 1/4 and see the dyno results - Butt Dyno says WINNER!!!! |

stop watch - not a perfect world but did three runs and took the average as I did when it was stock = it is actually probably faster due to human response time

think you will love it great performance - easy install - less than 1/2 hr - cannot beat the price and no issues - my car is x drive so no problem with launch but I can see a rear wheel car needing better tires than the run flats that it comes with.
Think the biggest thing I have felt so far is the increase feel of low end torque. I will bet the ranch I take 1/2 sec off the stock 1/4 mile time. |

That's about what I saw, not sure it was a fully 7 tenths faster 0-60 but my unscientific method showed around 4.8ish. I'd think the 1/4 should be around 12.8-13.2 depending on driver and traction.

As for shadow codes - I am lucky enough to have as my racing buddy the lead mechanic at a bmw dealer - All I can say is there is no trace at all with stage one - not sure about the others.
As for wastegate - I do have the electronic one and it works fine with stage one. As stated before the real performance test wil come in a couple of weeks at the track 1/4 mile. Since it is all wheel drive hence no traction problems - and the air will be cool - we will be in the 12 sec somewhere based on what I have seen so far. |
