F30 335i 100k+ miles worth it?
Hi All,
This is my first thread here. I have been a regular visitor and love the community. Coming to the point, I found a 2013 335i M-Sport for sale for 21k but it has over 100k miles. There no warranty left on the car. I like the car, but am worried I would need to spend too much maintaining it. Am I right? Is it worth the buy? Here is the link - Craigslist Thanks |

Nope you can find another vehicle with less mileage.

I would shop for a CPO car in the price range so you have a warranty. Otherwise see if your insurance will give you a warranty. Seems kind of high to me price wise for what it is. I assume you would negotiate on the price if you really wanted it after a test drive and having it checked out by a mechanic, maybe offer 12-15K, but I don't know without seeing it in person.

Dont do it. You can find a CPO one for close to the same price.

For 20k you can get a 2014 or maybe even 2015 CPO low mileage 320i. You can also get a 2014 CPO low mileage 328i. I'd pass on a 100k car for that price. Especially when you can get a new car with a warranty for the same price. I have a '14 335i and my wife has a '15 328i and the 328 drives great and in all honesty, I have no issues driving that car vs my 335. If I were you, I would shop around a various dealers. If you take your time and hit a bunch of dealers, you may be very surprised with what you find.

Looks to be a well maintained car but $21K is too much with that mileage for a 4yr old car. There are plenty of CPO cars...just check your local dealerships website; they usually have a tab for 'Certified' cars......

i was in the same boat.. i wanted a 335 coupe.. was looknig at the E found some really nice ones for the price.. but after asking here.. it was a no brainer.. i ended up with a 328 2016. its a nice car and all.. but i want a coupe. lol i rushed into it.. so my advice is.. take your time.. you will find what you want.
( a month after i got my car.. i found an amazing deal on a CPO 428 coupe.. wish i could have gotten that instead.. this is why i said take your time)
