How long to get a production #?

Just as the title says. I ordered about 10 days ago, and I still do not have a production #.

I can't remember how long it took me last time to get one. Thanks!

Took me nearly 3 weeks to get mine for a 435i, but as I understand it, it largely depends on your dealer's allotment.

I'm at 4 weeks + now. But I did have the holiday shutdown to contend with.

Completely depends on dealer allotment. I got mine in about an hour of placing the order, but then i checked with my CA to see if he had allotments before placing the order

My production started yesterday, almost a full month after I placed order on Dec 26th. Dealer had to "trade" an allotment, they claimed, but that happened supposedly a few days after I placed the order.
