I recently fitted the grilles from eBay. They match the black on the wing mirrors and other bits of the car perfectly. It took me about 10 minutes to change the first and about 2 minutes on the second.

I'm really pleased with the outcome.

Just fitted the spoiler Teaston recommended and a few pics for use.

Fits perfectly and a lot easier than I thought.

I think I now need the rear diffuser, I really do think it will complete the back end.

How necessary is the adhesive primer? I receive my Black Sapphire spoiler from emotors2000 yesterday (looks great btw) and am going to fit it tonight. I pre-added the 3M tape to the spoiler last night, but didnt use the primer. It seemed to stick pretty good, but wondered if it will loosen over time or something because didn't use the primer.

Should I use the primer on car surface then? What actually is it, and how will it affect the paint on the car?

Thks all

I would highly recommend using it although I did not use it on the spoiler.

I put it on to the boot lid and spread it with the cotton bud.

But be careful it's sticky, almost like superglue, and try to put it directly where the spoiler will sit as I made a bit of a mess and spent more time getting it off than putting the spoiler on.

Had use polish to get it off.

Hmmm - wish I could get one of these spoilers for my F32 (in blue II). The only ones available that I can find are 180 sobs for a BLACK one - urgh.

Just so you all know, my insurance went up £26 for the year adding the "aftermarket" lip spoiler. Better safe than sorry on a car of this much value I think!

Was it not just an admin charge?

That's the usual feedback from Esure anyway.

Yes get an indy to spray it, i got a whole bumper painted for £120 (metallic) so should be about half that. You'll still be saving a shed load over getting a genuine one!

Ok will get it sprayed. Pic if anyone is interested (not fixed obviously) My advice - if you want a white one get it primed and spray yourself

That is very different!

You could probably leave your towing eye cover with the sprayers to match so you won't be without your car at all.
