the markings still look like white balance control to me. one looks like sun, another looks like incandescent the one the opposite of sun looks like a whited out sun, probably "night" mode and then the square to the left could be like a scene mode.

no idea, i'm going on a guess.

and yeah, by the looks of the large front on the casing, it looks like a medium/120 format.

I was also thinking instead of color, the first letter kind of looks like an "s" maybe it's "solar"

Could be. I tried a search using solor and seler and a few other variations. It may indeed be "solar" and mean the type of lighting?

trigger mounting is in a similar fashion.

the one you were looking at originally may be a more modern version of this camera

looks like the "color" dial is just an indicator to remind you what film is in there: exposures, speed and color.

it's pretty cool -
that body looks solid-

there's zero items on ebay.
so there's an earlier P6TL with the TL lettering below the P6
and later is same line as P6.

i would pickup the Praktisix II if the p6 is not found.
wonder what the flaws are for the p6 -

Finally got my 24-105mm. Heavy beast. Not a whole lot bigger than my 10-22mm. The lens hood even fits the 10-22, although it may not really work with that wide lens.

Great lens.

Particularly at the wide end, be sure to use the lens correction of your RAW conversion software. I was amazed how much mine improved after I started running everything through DxO's Optics Pro. DPP and LightRoom, among others, have correction modules built into their conversion software.

Yeah, the lens correction step in ACR is in my workflow. Does make a big difference with this lens at the wide end for sure. Same with the 10-22. And the lens hood is interchangeable with just the very slightest vignetting on the 10-22. Maybe 2 pixels worth on the sides. Easily fixable.

I'm going to enjoy this lens.
