Yes. You need to connect, read FA, read SVT, and expand CAS to see CAFD file name.

Ok I'll give it a shot this weekend. I have a MY13 328xi without Comfort Access. "Should" I be able to do it? What CAFD file name am I looking for?

Yes, you should be able to do it so long as you have power folding mirrors, which has nothing to do with Comfort Access.

You should not be "looking for" any particular name, and it could be a dozen different ones. What matters only is what CAFD is there, and what FDL Codes are within it.

We are still waiting on 2014 Europe and North America NEXT maps for NBT.

Hello,

I connected esys by the wire but i cannot see anything in target, and cannot go further that this screen,I see the VIn number at the place connection via VIN in "Open Connection".

Anybody have any ideas because I am not talented to find the solution.

Do you have one of these folders?

C:\ESysData\psdzdata or C:\Data\psdzdata

Is you E-Sys Data path setup under E-Sys Options to point to your E-Sys Data folder above?

I don't quite understand your question. Coding an F30 is very similar to an F10, but some of the ECU's are different, and so are some of the FDL codes themselves, and some things can be coded in one an not the other.

Well I dropped off my 2012 F30 for routine service and it looks like my coding changes are all wiped out. I'm assuming its now running the latest version, which doesnt match the version I downloaded many months ago when this coding thing first became popular. Could someone drop me a note with the links to the latest version? Thanks!!

After Step 3, where you verified in the Coding Module that the VO you have loaded and activated has 4U2 and 0812 in it, did you Right-Click on HU_CIC and select Code, before checking HU_CIC => ECO_MODE?
