just came home in an f30 328i
hello ppl just came home in an f30 only a 328i but i was surprised at the quickness of it and im coming from a 450awhp evo ix. i was griping and looking to get into at least a 335 but took the 328i out and was surprised. it has enough power and im not looking into getting into a beast again. happy with the purchase and all the goodies that came with it and the deal i got.
now onto research LOL EDIT w/ pics: so got the grills installed - i tried to put them on in the parking lot of my local home depot LOL - but finished at home after needing a longer flat head. my old ride: Last edited by pkimM3r; 06-21-2012 at 12:36 PM.. Reason: pictures |

I just drove a new F30 328i and was extremely impressed with the torque and overall smoothness.. great engine and overall just a great car, congrats on the purchase! I think there will be some nice tuning potential as well if you want to turn up the boost later I like how you can hear the turbo working too..

Forgot to mention while I was there a spine surgeon came from snd diego to beverly hills bmw to buy his 129k blue m6. Apparently the only one in the western region. That thing sounded like a wild beast it was awesome and beautiful as hell

Just saw that M6 behind the red ropes at BH BMW last week.
Anywho, after my experience there, I'm shocked anyone from this forum would spend a dime there. My experience was absolutely miserable. For anyone else in So Cal, I'd advise against wasting your time there, especially if ordering. Maybe it's different for on-hand inventory?

I am closer to three other dealerships (and another 4-5 within LA county) but chose a certain one because I was literally blown away w/ the deal, attitude, expectations, etc. Also.. The anytime carwashes, you-pick loaners, and nitrogen tire fills help. Love it Competition drives success and simultaneously helps exemplify the sore thumbs

I guess you get away with it this time then
but since you don't want to post a picture, give us an idea of the interior/exterior colors, lines and all that

ahhh.....was looking to get a 335i sport line with just tech / navi package to keep it at a decent price and did not want to build as i needed a new car right away (blown engine) . we searched and those i guess are rare as they are usually just built with almost every damn option - so i looked for a 328i sport but only had a red one with the god awful red trimming - the one i got was basic fully loaded blk/blk.
sucks i dont have the sport suspension but thats what coilovers are for - fully customizable. now i need to go buy some vinyl wrap and get some things done for now. pretty happy with the car though - knowing that i wont even come close to the speed/cornering/RIDE HARSHNESS (this was a huge factor with the new car) at a price point that i think is worth it. its a 3 year lease and i wont be tracking the car so i figure make it handle well enough, make it look really nice then get myself into the new m3 when my lease is over or possibly that persian m6.....that sales woman was horrific dancing and singing im sexy and i know it - really?! |

Sounds good! I also have all options on my 328i and I love every bit of it, I'm sure you will too
btw, how did you blow your engine? lol
