Any views of MPPK on 330d xdrive?

As title suggests, just wondering if people have tried MPPK on 330d.

Many thanks

Thanks. I'm half way through my 3 year PCP and was thinking about this as an option.

Half thinking of buying car at the end of the agreement, but not sure if I can do this to a PCP car.

Do you feel a difference in performance?

You can do it, warranty will also stay in tact. And because BMW fitted it will probably add to your value at the end of the deal.

Will be a car they can easily shift if you dont keep it.

There are many threads/mentions for the 30D MPPK.

It doesn't deliver the highest gains (useful rather than astounding), but there's no risk to BMW warranty. I've had MPPK for ~18 months and it definitely adds to the car.

Adds no value at all to anything ignore anyone that says it does. Modifications seldom do.

Plenty of threads on here seem to go 50/50 as to whether its a selling point or not.

All that said - yes I had it fitted on my 330xd and it was worth every penny. Tony ^ had it fitted and was happy. At the big RR day the PPK was the only consistent performer and was putting out about 300bhp despite what BMW rate it at. And above all else, no warranty issues in the slightest.

Make no mistake though it wont make it a weapon, it simply adds some nice torque grunt and much more driveable, I think its worth the money looking at the cost of remaps but the warranty side alone justified it for me(look at ACS upgrades that include warranty - very expensive), that and when I got it there were few options other than tuning boxes.

Technically you can't change anything at all on an HP or PCP unless you ask BMWFS permission. Any changes from standard are supposed to be notified to them.

If you are going to buy or PX not really an issue, but worth bearing in mind if you plan to hand back.

Guys. Many thanks for the feedback.

I need to see what the cost (hoping circa £1k) is and then contact BMWFS for approval and then see what insurance company (Admiral) say.

If this isn't an option, may look at changing car early.
