M Performance Exhaust Tip Placement

In the below pics, it looks like the tips aren't pushed in all the way and therefore stick out just over an inch or so. I like this look. Does anyone else have their tips sit like this or was this just for the show?

Thanks

It is really easy to adjust them. There is a screw underneath. You can then adjust them in or out; or to even them up.

Mine sat almost exactly like this on my 2014 435i (dealer installed). There seems to be a variance in either install or the manufacturing of the MPE. I pushed mine in a bit by undoing the hex screw underneath

I browsed other cars on the lot, some customer and some new with MPE and almost no two were the same. On average, the tips stuck out past the bumper and part of the inner exhaust pipe was visible.

Funny you should bring this up. I just fit the carbon fiber exhaust tips last night and initially I set them up sticking out an it but the OCD in me made me push the on all the way. I know it doesn't matter but they feel more secure and "in place" pushed in all the way. Just my oddball 2 cents.

Is the adjustment screw on the top? Is it an allen wrench?

BMW techs really stink at installing these. Took it to Sonic Motorsport in San Jose and was over a $100 cheaper and had my car back in an hour and fifteen minutes.

Fitment was perfect and looks completely OEM
