Oil on Rear Diff
While under my car doing the trans fluid change, I noticed that the left side of my rear differential was wet, looks to be oil. Was not spray from anywhere else (checked thoroughly).
I'm under CPO, is this something worth checking into or considered "normal" in the eyes of the dealer? Just trying to avoid that 1hr diagnostic fee they use to deter warranty claims. Also not trying to have my rear diff go out at some point after warranty... I'm covered until Dec 2018. Thanks for any insight you can provide. -tgm |

If so, I would probably bring it in to the dealer. |

Yea I would take it to the dealer sooner than later depending on where the leak was youve no idea how much was leaking out during driving and for how long and how much is left in there.

I posted a PDF from ISTA Rheingold with instructions on how to replace both of them here (Post #145 in sticky thread). |
