335i M Sport EB2 with M Performance

Hi from Auckland, New Zealand.

I picked up my 335i M Sport with M Performance Aero kit and exhaust on Friday 25th. Love the car, it has exceed my expectations in every way so far.

Here are some pics I took quickly today.

Yeah, the dealer appointed paint shop painted the aero kit. Really happy with the finish and colour match - perfect from what I can tell so far.

I went for painted on the EB2 as I wanted the lip to be seen, the idea that it "vertically stretches" the front of the car and counteracts that F30 squashed nose look that I'm not so fond of.

I'm really pleased with it painted and I thought long and hard about it. I think it does depend on the colour, unpainted looks great on white, but I think painted looks better on EB2.

I based my painting scheme on this BMW show car...

Originally I did, but I have to be careful getting into my driveway with the Adaptive suspension as it is -- so I don't think lowering any further would be practical for me unfortunately.

Congrats jono, looks great. I think this is how you do it right first time.

Are you going to do the m perf trunk spoiler? BMW reckon it needs to go with the front lip

I have though about it, still not convinced about the look of the spoiler, but you never know. Might come around to it. I'm trying to to keep the changes relatively subtle, I really like the Aero kit as it is a few small parts but added together make the car look more athletic.

Yes, I read BMWs recommendation as well which is interesting.

They did a great job... Really like the color match on the bottom rocker lip.

I was on the fence about what color to paint the front spoiler. I was going to 2 tone it with the splitter the color of the car and the bottom black.

I definitely wasn't going to leave it the matte black.

Ended up going with a high gloss light graphite on the complete spoiler.

It came out pretty cool..

My plan is to do the mirrors, rear diffuser and lower rocker skirt lips in the same color.
