Yet another coding thread....

Apologies if this has been covered umpteen times before!

I'd like to have email/texts (no ebt) on the I drive and I would like to show the digital speedo in the cluster. (No hud)

What are my options? I've been reading up on bimmertech/ Carly etc but it's a bit of a minefield tbh

Many thanks

Turning on EBT is very simple, I did it and I need help switching a computer on!

All you need is a laptop with the software and an OBD cable which you can get on amazon for £10. Follow the guide which you can find in the coding section and EBT is done. It took me less than 5 minutes to do. Just follow each step exactly how it says in the guide, simple.

Have a look over on the coding section for the digital speedo as I think I hit coding peak with EBT haha

Should have said, on one of the pinned threads in the coding section you will find how to get the software needed too. Best part is all it costs is the price of the cable, much cheaper than paying for it etc. There may also be a forum member near you who has done what you want or knows how, so can help you out for a few beer tokens.

The EBT works great but depending on which phone you have you may need extra software on the phone too to get emails and other notifications on the screen.
