My dads new car

My dad has had an e60 for about 8 years ish and it was getting a bit tired.
Since I got my F36, my dad has wanted an F32. Unfortunately, he doesnt have the finances to get one, but, we found a nice F30 318d in his price range.

Its pretty basic compared to mine, but it has everything he wanted.

M sport
HK Sound system
Business Nav
DAB

I'll be adding EBT for him too when he takes delivery of it. Its a nice blank canvas

I think it looks good as it is too. He just wants little things adding, like black front grills and CF mirror caps. He likes the wheels, so he wont be changing them.

Looks good. I like 400Ms too - I sought out some as a winter set as they're the best looking 18" wheels to my eyes.

Haha. My dad has all the spec he wanted, so I don't think I'll be able to add much more than cosmetic stuff.

Looks good mate, I am also a fan of the 400's

What's the 318d like to drive?

I may be on the look out for a work car I can drive to its death, a 330d is nice bust costly to run when you do 40k a year.

I havent driven it yet, but my dad said in Sport it feels quicker than his old 520d. He said Comfort felt a bit Lazy, but Eco pro was ok.

I think if your used to the power, you may miss it.

Thanks for the feedback

I know I'll miss it, but I'm picking up an RS to get that fix, I just need something nippy and nice to be in, without it being dreadfully awful!

My dad was more than happy with it on the test drive. We'll be able to offer a bit better feedback once he collects it. (He needs to wait for the V5 of his old car to come back due to personalised reg).

I think I'm going to code that it starts in Eco as my dad doesn't like comfort.

It may just be him. He didnt like comfort, so put it in sport, thought it felt better, then I told him to try Eco, and he said that was ok too.

tbh, Im usually either in eco or sport in mine, I rarely use comfort.
