Will the leather dash option return?

It was briefly available on the MY2015 F3x, then they had a part shortage and it vanished. Will it return one they sort out the supply issues?

A European poster just posted photos the other day of his 2016 F3x that had the leather dash. So, it's available now. The key is finding a CA and dealer willing to do the legwork to make it happen.

It should just be an advertised option. Really dresses up the interior.

When I ordered it wasn't available.

ordered it for my F36 which I took delivery of in June this year. Really does set it off. Over here in England it was a £800 option

Was able to get it on my 2015 F31. It's worth every penny if you can manage to order it. My only complaint is they don't do contrast stitching. But just having merino leather to match the M wheel with any stitching at all is totally worth it. Honestly should be standard in the 3er, although I know plenty of people don't want the extra hassle of maintaining it, or worry about it fading.

We have the leather dash and I really miss all the other leather when I drive my brothers extended leather M4.

You could probably pay out the ass for it as an OEM part, your best bet is to hope somewhere in the country, a junkyard has one.

i know - worthless without a link - but there's someone on here that swapped in an m4 leather dash (and seats!) into his f32. I'm sure a little searching will find it. (IIRC he's in europe somewhere)

The factory cost of this would be staggering - wouldn't shock me if it's north of $3 or $4k.

I'd LOVE to get the leather dash in my car, but i shudder to think at the labor cost (and/or headache) to get it installed.

(if i ever stumbled on the corpse of an AW M4 in a junkyard, the leather dash, door cards, and trunk lid would be going home with me.)

I guess you mean in matching merino leather? Because with leather upholstery the door inserts as well as the door armrests and the center armrest are all leather.

The leather on our dash is twice as nice as any other leather surface on our car. I like the leather tops on the door cards in the M4 and I'm pretty sure the dash under the steering column on the M4 is wrapped as well.
