Why do some pictures of m-sport have such high suspension?

I know that the xdrive has a higher suspension than the rwd 335i, but I also noticed among those that ordered the 335i m sport, some cars look higher than others. Please educate me.

these are both 335i m sports:

Sometimes the shipping blocks are still in the car (especialy when the pics taken are pre delivery). Where are you getting all of these pics from??? Haven't seen any recent M Sport pics posted on here in weeks!!!

The 2nd pic is actually the new X5.

Seriously though, it's probably just the shipping blocks.

I am wondering the same thing. I've seen several F30 models in person that seem quite "jacked up", others not. Is it possible for a dealer to forget to take the spacers off? Or would you notice that right away?

Wasn't it mentioned that if you get the 335i msport with xdrive it wont be lowered as much as the rwd msport models?

The point I was making is that non-xdrive cars appear to have different suspension heights and wheel gap from the pictures I've seen.

FWIIW, the top car has 19" rims (upgrade), while the bottom one has the standard 18".

I would like to believe that makes a difference too.

+1 my local dealer got their first msport so i went to look at it and it seemed pretty high to me. It was a 328i i don't know how much there is a difference between a 328i and 335i

It should not.

A plus 1 setup would mean the profile of the tire decreases allowing for the wheel diameter increase. It can be an optical illusion, but the diameter of the 18" and 19" tire should be the same.

Here's mine. It's low enough for me.

2014 335i M Sport left completely stock. 2 inch gap front, and 1 1/4 inch gap rear. I believe all stock M Sport suspension for RWD is the same.
