Power Outlets

I've searched my F32 all over for more than one power socket (12v), but can only find the one up front near the ashtray. Is there another one that I can't find or something?

My F30 has one for rear passengers behind the center console.

Yes but I'm guessing that's because you all have F30's? I'm guessing F32's only come with one.

I just checked the owner's manual, I'm supposed to have one under the front glove box, went to check the car, no terminal (outlet) but the hole for it is already drilled. However, I checked the fusebox, and all cigarette lighter terminals have fuses. The only reason this is bothering me is because I've paid M5 money for a 435i, and for a $20 cigarette lighter to be left out is just lazy.

Really? You just have the raw hole? Can't imagine how that was not installed.

Have you looked in there or just felt the hole?

Our 435 has it, brothers M4 has it under the glove box.

I looked under and the cutout is there, but there is nothing behind it.

Well that sucks.

Shouldn't be too difficult to add using OEM or aftermarket parts.

Yupp, it would be an easy install, but I'm hoping I don't have to run any wires or anything, or that it's a simple plug and play (assuming the wire to plug into is there)

It's just 2 x 10mm nuts to drop that plastic tray under the glove box. Good luck.

QC sucks it appears. One without the PDC switch...now another without the power outlet. My car has 3 (if not four). One in the console, one in the back seat, one in the hatch area and I think one as the OP says near the glove box. Need to confirm that one.

The OP is in Lebanon. It could easily be that cars built for that nation have different equipment than the US.

front passanger side...on the bottom of the glove box...towards the left...look and you will see it. i can even reach it from the driver's seat. Very usefull there. I use it all the time.

True..but if it has the other ones, seems silly to delete one minor power port. I doubt that the market is all that large there to worry about 1 12v terminal..but you make a good point...

The car is built in Germany, has the same European car standards, the Levant packet only affects the radiator, AC (temperature-related items). I just checked on the BMW configurator for Germany, additional power sockets for a 435i X-Drive come in as standard and cannot be removed as an option. So something doesn't add up

You have a Euro car, so you probably needed to add the option "additional 12V power outlets" (option 575)
USA cars have it standard as do a few other countries
