You can, you'll only need up to ~350 with a tuning box.

The numbers are really just "fake" though. It's an estimation of HP/TQ based on RPM/engine load. Just like the ASD sounds from the stereo to make the engine sound more aggressive.
They are by no means any accurate representation of actual HP/TQ from the engine. |

Have you dyno'd your car to compare? Any dyno plots I've seen put out different numbers than the displays show.
They don't need absolute torque numbers for limiters. Everyone has been using a %-load calculation forever to implement the nanny features. With my Active Autowerke piggyback, I get an aggressive throttle cut at high load shifts due to torque management. The car doesn't know what the "new" torque is, it just knows there is a certain level of fuel being sprayed, RPM and throttle position. It doesn't see the "new" boost pressure, so it wouldn't know the actual torque numbers. The displays might be close, but they still are spoofed like the active sound. |

Sorry, didn't know if you meant you dyno'd it.
The reality all you need to get 100% throttle = x HP, and possibly a scale back for the volumetric efficiency though (never checked enough to see if everyone gets the stated HP number of the car, not one corrected for their elevation). These engines are pretty consistent, especially ones with turbos. If I look at the display at 1/2 throttle, is it anything close to the true wheel horsepower? Who knows (but I doubt it). Just saying.... |

Hi, Do you know if Sports Display is possible to code on my 330d? I have tried to find it in the Coding threads but only found a code with comment "does not work on diesel" Thanks...

Is it possible to code the Sport Display on the standard non-nav screen on a 2015 F32?
