F30 403/442 rims fit 235/265 R19 tyre?

Hello everyone,

Just bought a 340i with 442 rims last week. Wanna swap PSS on my 335 with RFT on 340. The PSS is 235 R19 front and 265 R19 rear while RfT on 340 is 225 255. Anyone knows if these PSS can be fitted on 340's 442(403) rims?

Thanks guys

front tires will fit.

265 is too wide for 8.5" rear rim width. 255 is max on 8.5" and is bulging slightly. i suppose one could conceivably force it however it will be bulging like no tomorrow...

I put 235 265 on 335's 313 rim. Is 313 same spec as 442? Sorry I'm a noob in tyre and rim spec.

The rear style 313 wheel was available in both 8.5 and 9" width.

If it was 9" 275 tires can be fitted without issues.

Got it. So 442 has a different spec than 313. What 313 can fit is not necessary for 442.

Correct!

Style 442:
F: 8x19"
R: 8.5x19"

Style 313 18":
F: 8x18"
R: 8.5x18"

Style 313 19":
F: 8x19"
R: 9x19"
