Out with the old in with the new
So after 7 years of E90 ownership and 240 000KM, I've got my hands on a F30.
I was looking for a manual CPO 328 and it's pretty rare (in Canada). I wanted to get a grey one or coral red interior, but after more than a year looking for one with the options, mileage, colors I wanted, I just changed my plans. So I made a 1100km trip to find a CPO one in an other province. Went there by plane, came back with the car. A 10 hours test drive with beautiful sun and landscape. Got an awesome service at BMW Moncton. Bought a 2012 328i sport line exterior Schwarz (black) and Dakota leather interior with red stitching. I also have nav. Previous owner gave my black winter rep wheel and black front grill. My friends and colleague almost didn't notice I changed car. From black to an other black some said it's the same car, but I know there's a big difference between the E90 and F30 After 3 weeks I'm just super happy with my F30. I've already put the Afe intake. I bought it from a particular; his wife said the sound was annoying. Lucky me, he sold it less than half the price. Right after i put it in my car my wife said the same comment, but i'm not selling it ! I also got a great deal on H&R coilover from an other particular. The seller said that his wife find the ride is to stiff. 5000km on the coilover, his lost my gain ! Only complaint I can make on the F30 is that I miss the M performance exhaust tone of the N52 and the cup holder placement on the F30 is awful. Germans just don't want us to drink coffee I guess. Finally, I must admit that I miss the steering stiffness of the E90 compared to the electronic one on the F30. Like every other car i've owned, I told my self I would not mod it, but the mod bug is a lifetime problem for me I kept my Vmr wheels and I just can't wait to see if it fits or look good on my F30 with the Coilover. I'll have to wait a long 3 months till winter ends. Next mod to come M sport bumpers.

Oh, you're from QC! I hope to see you around in the summer or winter, just look for a EBII debaged 335i driving around, you'll recognize it's me from the exhaust. Nice choice! As you know modding runs deep into your wallet, I already have 5k into my car and I just got it in September.....I'll continue the rest of my mods after winter. If you need help with anything, let me know, I used to own a 14' 328i. |

I kept my VMR and I just can't wait for for summer time to fit my set on the f30. Just not sure if it's going to look good or i'll have to buy another set of wheel. I guess 18 inch will look small on the f30

18s will look a bit small on the F30. Most of my F30 customers run 19" wheels. Some even opt for 20s. If you're interested in another set don't hesitate to reach out!

Nice! Congrats on the new car.
My situation is similar to yours. I have an E90 330i with 240,000 on the clock and just picked up a F30 335i M-Sport. I still have the 330i and will be driving it for the winter months here on out. Sucks to walk past the F30 every morning tho... |

Nice pair !!
Congrats on the find. With the saving, you can definitely bump the power of the F30 to be more than the N55...
