My new 340i after opticoat pro plus

Ive had my new car now for about 5 months but just been a bit lazy with the introduction. I had the paint protection applied about a month after delivery. Below are the results.

Why are there two holes in your front bumper fender? You have the side view camera and one right above it. Mine only has one (side view camera). (fwiw, I also have the radar for parking)

It's another parking sensor. I have the same.

You don't? Perhaps they're part of parking assist?

Thanks, I didn't know that. Is it the one where the car parks itself? I have the radar sensors but not the self park functionality.

I have the parking assist so I'm guessing it's the sensor for that option.

Don't know what I am seeing.

: Maybe a normal polished car the same color next to it would show the difference with & without.

You're probably aware but trying to catch what you see on camera is difficult let alone getting the best from a white car.

So the title is literally what it says. I wasn't trying to show the opti coat but just introducing the car and the pictures where quite literally right after I had it opti coated.

Anyway below is on delivery day.

Came as standard on the car. 340i in Australia comes fully loaded. Also I found out that July 2016 cars onwards (for Australia) do not have the extra oil cooler behind the fog light area so now it's all closed off so having fog light there is ok.

I actually like the cornering light function of the fog lights. Makes a huge difference compared to my previous halogen fogs on the 328.

That's what I meant but don't the radiators act as an additional oil cooler?

Yes indeed Australia! You would think they would leave that well alone with our hot climate and all. But to be honest I don't think it's needed unless you track your car.

Looks fantastic - the side view really reflects the gloss of ProPlus and couldn't agree more on how difficult white is to reflect gloss, especially in pictures. I've had a few vehicles done with Pro Plus but for my current/new 440 I had my guy do the polishing and Xpel but I did the consumer version Opti Gloss Coat myself.
