Lolz. I does. It just doesn't do anything for me. I like the color combo in theory, I understand the appeal. But for me personally, that red is a no go. It clashes with my planned theme for this build as well.

What's up guys? Created the trade thread for my Coral interior. If anyone is interested, Please read the entire thread and PM me. I'd like to get this done within the next couple weeks if possible. I have a few people ready to go right now from Facebook and Instagram but I want to make sure I get the best quality and condition seats for what I'm looking for.

Got the windows tinted today. 20% Ceramic all around. Makes such a huge difference... I do not like to be "fish bowling". Little by little. This car has to grow on me, coming from a car that was 95% complete... it feels weird as hell back in a super stock car. SMH

Gloss Black Sport Grills came in today.
Also got my black vinyl to cover the blue on the Roundels.
Little changes that go a long way for me.

In what way is the F30 better than your e92?

Put your foot down in Sport or Sport+ mode and the car is just a rocket. An incredibly smooth, silent, powerful rocket! This car also has comfort access and an alarm system that my e92 did not have. Once I get rid of these red seats I think I may give the overall look of this car the 1 up as well. Lastly, I'd say the different driving modes and the 8ZF transmission.

What I miss about my e92 was the feel, that car drove like it was on rails. Even before I put the coilovers on it. This F30 has major body roll and some serious understeer to boot. Once I throw on some coilovers and add in some negative camber I'm hoping it will be closer to what my e92 felt like. Another major gripe for me is the steering feel. This electronic steering is going to take a lot to get used to. It's a constant battle between wanting a weighted steering feel and trying to drive efficiently. I could have both in my e92 as the steering was ALWAYS heavy and the throttle input was extremely linear. I always could control how much I put into it at all times and the power was ALWAYS there. With the F30 I'm constantly shifting from Comfort to Sport/Sport+. This car seriously needs an INDIVIDUAL mode where I can set all of the parts where I want them. I have began driving in Sport mode only while using the manual shifting option but the throttle response is too jumpy. I think I will get it down with practice though. Comfort mode will be for cruising only.

Stock for stock I honestly cant tell you which one I prefer more. But it's also not a fair comparison as I don't remember my e92 in stock form. It was heavily modded for the last 3 years of the 4 years I owned it. I'll be able to give a better answer once I put coils, wheels and an exhaust on this car. As it stands right now, I miss my e92... but I see the potential in this F30 for sure.

Ordered some simple black accent pieces today as well. Gonna get my windows tinted on Monday after I complete my state inspection.

Also reached out to Alex@Alpine about getting some coding done. There are definitely a few features I want to tweak on this car. Starting to get into the swing of things now. She's beginning to feel more like mine with every drive.
1st thing I did when I got mines also, debadge. good stuff sir.

It is a MUST! I want my trunk as clean as possible. If it weren't for those holes underneath the roundel... that would be gone too. I think this time around I might just say F IT and get the body work done. That would be at the bottom of my list though. IDK how I feel about dropping what I would assume is a couple hundred bucks or more to fill in 2 holes.

Decided to go with a set of Work S1 3 piece wheels. I've always loved these wheels and I think it's about time I got a set. My only issue is the front width of the wheel, I'm limited to 9" et30ish. I want to run a 245/40/19 or 255/35/19 tire comfortably without having to go pass -2 camber. That's just such a narrow wheel for a step lipped setup. I'm looking at a 2.5" lip with a 9", but if I do a 9.5" et35 I could get a 3" lip on the front to match the rears. I'd need to run -3 or more in the front to fit those AND I wouldn't be able to go as low I would like. So decisions, decisions... anywho... I'm certain these will be the wheels though. Gonna put in my order for them the middle of November, they say it takes 12-15 weeks to make. Wheels will pretty much be exactly like these pictured below, with the exception of black hardware and a glossier finish on the face.

This guy is running 19x9.5 +33 all around with 255/35. On BCs, so it's doable.

Excellent. That's exactly what I needed to see. I was worried about the inner clearance between the lip/tire and the coilover strut/collar. He looks to be about the same height that I want to land at as well. That extra .5" in the front is going to go a long way in how aggressive these wheels look. Thank you sir, I appreciates.

It's been very frustrating to get any info on aggressive setups, since so few have actually done it. I've seen many people on here say that there's no way you can fit a 255/35 in the front on a 9.5+35, yet there are others who claim to do it and have no issues.

I know the feeling man. I live on the wheel and "stance" threads of this forum hoping to come across information. It sucks because the guys who have made these sizes fit absolutely refuse to give out their specs. Like damn bro, it's not that serious. Then the flipside to that is most of the other members say it's impossible to do. I'm not even trying to go super aggressive, just wide in the front with minimal stretch. I thought I saw someone fit a 265 tire in the front when I 1st started searching last year... but I can no longer find the post. I'd love to run 19x9.5 et30ish with a 265/35 or 255/40 and 19x11 et40ish with a 285/35. Having metal fenders in the front and rears will go a long way with a meaty setup but my major concern is the inner area.

I have found guys running 10" front wheels and 11.5" rear wheels like my e92 setup but they don't want to give out specs, plus they're running super stretched tires to make that work. I'm out of that game for the time being. I'll probably stick with 9" and 10.5" to get that meaty tire look this time around. I'm not liking how much stretch is on the 9.5" 255 combo. If I can fit a 265 I'd be STOKED! I want the tire sidewall look to be symmetrical AND have large wheel lips. I think I'm trying to do too much...

This is the look I'm going for.
http://s301.photobucket.com/user/gor...om036.jpg.html
Big lips, meaty, low. I'll throw in some negative camber to make it work.

Although the saddle is tempting as well if I can find it.

Any who, I'm enjoying the car so far. Getting used to all of the different driving settings and when best to apply them during the various parts of my commutes. I turned that damn engine stop crap off as soon as I figured out how to... that shit is terribly annoying. Coming from a fully stanced car, I forgot how comfortable a BMW can be and in Comfort mode this rides even better than I could have imagined. The body roll is a bit much, but I realize that's because I didn't put it into Sports+ mode. I'm gonna take her for a late night drive tonight and really have some fun.

More to come.
