Yeah had to wait since Mother Nature kept screwing me by dumping snow every time I had scheduled a pick up. This winter sucks. Installed H&R Sports for xDrive right away and was supposed to have my winter set up installed too...but...they didn't fit!! Msport brakes were too big for the 18" AG M310 replicas I ordered...so now they are trying to scrounge up a set of style 269 reps saying they will fit. I'm not crazy about the 269's, but they're not horrible. I thought the M405's would grow on me...but they haven't. Will most likely swap them out in the spring for something more aggressive. There is a ridiculous amount of gizmos on this car...time to spend a few hours with the manual to figure them all out, lol!

What affect do the springs have on the BMW warranty?

I suppose BMW could deny any work for shock failures. When I get a proper summer set up, I will most likely swap out the H&R's for coil overs. Just waiting for a few more guys with xDrive to pony up and post some reviews of coil over sets they have used and I will make the decision. I know that BC has a set that's available, but this isn't a civic...so I will most likely wait and see...

As for the rest..thanks for the comments. The camera doesn't really capture this color as it is in person.

...and Chico...this is the official thread Bro...get some pix in here, lol.

Enough of Winter already...

Ok, so since I can't actually ddrive the car today since we are reciving yet another dump of snow...I though it would be a great time to do my second mod(s)...the interior.

CF+Alcantra eBrake

CF+Alcantra Shifter

and let's not forget the CF+Alcantra Dash Kit

Much better than the piano black trim it came with...too many fingerprints!

...now if it would only stop snowing...

Congratulations!

Congratz bro!

I love the drop, now I am really excited on installing my springs in the spring! How's the ride so far? Sucks your wheels didn't fit, I got same problem and ended up getting some Fast wheels that are dead ugly...

Let me know if you have any questions on the car!

Peace

Peace
Couple people asking about the ride...

Early indications are pretty good. I only have about 100 kilometers on the car yesterday and can't drive it today due to the snow, so not much to tell yet.

On my way to the shop to get the springs installed yesterday I did feel that "floaty" sensation that many have talked about on this forum when going about 120 on the 401 (local hwy) when going over a ridge/bump. I didn't notice that feeling on my way back after the instal. Haven't really been able to push the car in the corners yet, but it feels solid, especially in sport mode.

Similar I haven't been able to get the benefit (or sound!) from the MPPK of the MPE yet as I haven't put the tach over 3500.

Really hating Mother Nature right now. Why don't I live in Florida?

Winter wheels

Hey, what winter wheel set up are you planning on getting? I'm picking up my Laguna M Per Edition, mid Feb. Thanks!

All I could find at this point in the season was some 269 replicas. Hope they fit.
