Motion Sickness

My mom suffers from motion sickness. She can do max 3 hours. In my BMW 328i she is unable to do even 1 hour.
Any help or suggestions welcomed.

Drive slower or elaborate on what causes (exacerbates) her motion sickness.

Ginger is remarkably effective. I use it when I take kids to the amusement park.

to add onto the above poster, if she drinks a can of ginger ale on the trip it could help to keep her stomach calm

I had a similar initial reaction to a lot of the previous posts here, but then thought about it a bit more. When I worked at an automotive oem, we would get complaints from shorter statured people sitting in the passenger seat and not being able to see out of the window because of a high belt line. The 3 series is one of the better cars in this area, but if she’s on the shorter side it could still be an issue. You could try adjusting the seat as high as possible and see if it helps.

Change the Run Flats to non RFT's. It makes a huge difference. The ride feels much lees bumpy.

They sell pills for this but I don't think it's good to take a pill every time she needs to go somewhere.

Best is to just take some ginger and make she she has a good view of the road, if she's in the back, move her to the front seat. Otherwise try to adjust the seat as stated above.

My sister in law used to suffer greatly in my car, since swapping the RFTs for normal tyres, she's been fine.
