Evolution to BMW F32 4 Series From E92 3 Series Coupe [a Visual Comparo]
BIMMERPOST NEWS Evolution to BMW F32 4 Series From E92 3 Series Coupe [a Visual Comparo] Now that we have seen the production 4 Series coupe fully uncovered, a natural comparison to draw is between the 4 Series coupe (F32) and the model that it succeeds, the 3 Series coupe (E92). We do not yet know the official dimensions of the production 4 Series coupe, but for reference the concept 4 series dimensions are: 1.6 inches longer than E92 3 Series coupe 1.6 inches wider than E92 3 Series Coupe 1.3 inches lower than E92 3 Series Coupe 1.9 inches longer wheelbase than E92 3 Series coupe 1.7 inches wider front track than E92 3 Series coupe 3.1 inches wider rear track than E92 3 Series coupe Note: these are calculated using concept (not production) 4 Series dimensions |

So beautiful. Absolutely stunning. Now the interior...... that's a different story. And the way it drives...... probably won't be a raw BMW.

i like those side vents. and that integrated trunk spoiler. but i think the back is a little anemic. i'm also seeing a lot of styling cues taken from the audi A5. reserving judgment for better photos.

I actually really like it. I'm let down by the lights, but other than that, it's to my liking. And the M4 will look even better. Really digging the slight E46 flavor on the rear.

Love the E92. I believe its one of the nicest looking cars bmw ever made. It looks way better to me than the new F32.

Meh...not feeling it. Side vent looks so cheap and everything looks little robotic.
Hope M4 looks better. |

The F32 looks great, but the one thing I hate about it and the F30 is how the front bumper is flat in the middle and then gets rounded as it connects to the side vs the E92 where the front is rounded/curved.

Wow great work on the post! Seeing the cars next to each other really shows the evolution of the coupe. Looks great! It's much larger, more muscular, and futuristic. Even though I love my former E92 I think the new 4 is definitely more beautiful in every photo.

Looks good and will look much better in M sport as usual. Yes it looks bigger and bigger each generation, but if they come out with smaller cars like the 2 series, does it really matter?? I guess they could have made the "3 series" get smaller (instead of introducing the 2 series), and made the f30/32 the 4 series. The only difference is name recognition and what we "think" it should be. The same options will exist, you just have to change your mindset. I'm not sure if any of this made any sense, I'm tired...

wow, next to the E92, it makes the new coupe really stand out, and it deserves that 4 badge.
It's really a step above! Impressive stands and aggresive lines, as it should be! with this baby in the mirror, it's screams MOVE! Love it!
