jb1 issue.
Sup fellow f30 members, so I have a 328 n26 with a jb1 with 5k on the car and i've noticed my car makes a grinding sound on start up and changing gears from 1-3k rpm. Not sure what it is, might be a charge pipe? Anyways should I remove my jb, clear it, and take it in? Don't think its normal.

Hope the dealer doesn't have a way of checking whether you had it installed before.

How is this related to a JB1 issue?

Have you had a chance to remove the JB1 & test?

Too lazy? It's potentially hurting your car and you're too lazy to take it out to see if its the problem? SMH.

How does a piggyback tune affect a cold engine/transmission grinding startup?

As the power gain with JB1 is fairly modest, most likely it is coincidental that your car is having grinding noise and happen to have JB1. Factory tuned cars have problems all the time. And since JB1 is the most popular tune right now, the likelihood of such owner reporting problem with their car is more.
But I would still take off my tune just to be on the safe side. |

When you say grinding sound, is it grinding from the engine? Does it do it while your moving or not moving? Could it be something else like something with your suspension grinding?
