Totaled or fixable 340i

Its been a sad day.

Got t boned by a lady driver and believe she was on her phone. That Volkswagen Jetta was going about 50mph and slamed right in the passenger side. But at the end of the day, i came out alive. All that matters.?? What you guys think?

I swear this car is a curse , this is my 2nd accident in this car. The first one , is when i got the car about 2 months . It got rear ended by 3 cars. I really dont know if its the color or the brand . Lol

It's the color... at least that is what the BMW Collision Center said the last time I had to have my car repaired.... As I'm turning into a parking lot and someone decided to turn into my driver side doors at 5mph.

That's pretty bad - floor pan and B-post both gone. But it's a new car with a lot of value, so they may not total it.

Glad you're ok, hope the GTI driver is ok but sue the heck out of her.

Sorry to hear dude.

If the insurance doesn't total it, you should fight to have it totaled. You don't want to own that car after it's repaired.

That looks like it is totaled. With the bmw tax on parts not likely to be fixable for cheap even with imitation parts. Might void warranty. I've seen similar damage and the car was totaled. Someone will buy it cheap at auction repair it and sell it as salvage or use or sell it as a parts car.

That car is completely totaled. The frame is bent beyond repair, and even if it was repaired, it won't be safe and be costing more than the car itself.

You probably have suspension damage as well.

This really sucks, but glad you're OK. 50 mph broadside, would have expected even more damage. Looks like your F30 did it's job saving you.

Honestly though, please add VIN number of your car in this post so if gets totaled and it'll be bought by someone that'll ship it out of US and, someone will have a chance to find it. Sadly, lots of cars like that end up in Poland.

Some cars seem to come with a pre-installed "hit me" sign.

I think that if it isn't totaled, you will never be satisfied with the way it drives, and you will never be able to get it aligned properly.
